EA-101 Entrance Assessment (TABE)
The Entrance Assessment is a four-hour session that includes a reading and math assessment called the TABE (Test of Adult Basic Education). There is also some enrollment paperwork to complete and opportunity to learn more about our career and technical programs and their admissions requirements.
Where do I go?
Entrance Assessments are held at the WEMOCO CTE Center at 3589 Big Ridge Road, Spencerport NY 14559. You can find directions here. There is free parking available in our lot to the west of the building. You ll enter at the red awning at door #71. The admissions door is through the vestibule.

How can I prepare for the TABE?
While studying for the TABE is not necessary, there are some resources to help you here: https://www.monroe2boces.org/TABEpractice.aspx.
What should I bring?
Please bring a photo ID.

Students should plan to attend for all 4 hours, but some individuals may finish earlier.
How soon will I get my scores?
You will be notified within 2-3 business days of your admissions status. Students whose scores indicate they may need more support to be successful in a CTE course, may be recommended for our dual enrollment program or another program to increase their reading or math skills before testing.
