SER100 Small Engine Repair
Students learn the theory behind small engines operation and repair, which includes: how to maintain, improve, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair two- and four-stroke engines. The course combines theory and hands-on experience to gain the skills you will need to repair small engines. Learn how to make adjustments, do tune-ups, and do maintenance on mowers, weed-whackers, tillers, blowers and snow blower engines. After this course, you ll be ready to maintain and repair your equipment for work, home and play!

All program offerings must reach a minimum enrollment at least four business days prior to the start of the first scheduled class to avoid delays or cancellations.  If it is necessary to delay or cancel class, you will be notified and have the option to enroll in a future class or request a refund. Refund Policy
Refund/Withdrawal Policy Students wishing to officially withdraw from the program should initiate the process in writing to the admissions office or their Student Advisor. Students who officially withdraw or are dismissed from the program, will be eligible for a refund based on the schedule below. Calculation of tuition liability will be calculated from the last day of documented attendance. Students who stop attending, but do not provide a written intent to withdrawal before their 3rd missed class, are not eligible for a refund. Students are encouraged to maintain contact with their instructor and advisor if they cannot attend class for any reason. Please refer to the attendance policy for additional details. CWD will provide a full refund in the event a course is cancelled for any reason. Tuition refunds will be made according to the following schedule: Classes 89 hours or fewer - The following policy applies to students enrolled in programs that are 89 hours or fewer in length. Time of Withdrawal/Termination - Percent of Refund 24 hours prior to start of class - 100% After 1 class - 50% After 2 classes - 0% Classes 90 hours or more - The following policy applies to students enrolled in programs that are 90 hours or more in length. Time of Withdrawal/Termination - Percent of Refund 24 hours prior to start of class - 100% After 1 class - 90% After 2 or 3 classes - 75% After 4 or 5 classes - 50% After 6 or 7 classes - 25% After 8 classes - 0% Confirmation of Withdrawal and any balance the student owes (if applicable) will be billed and mailed to the student. Full and Partial refunds can take up to 45 days for processing. Refunds may be issued by check, regardless of the original form of payment.
